Does Your Fault Indicator Have Inverse Time Characteristics

Release time:2017-09-26 17:06:35

The so-called "inverse time characteristic" refers to the fact that the action time is inversely proportional to the square of the magnitude of the incoming current, that is, the greater the input current, the shorter the action time; the greater the jumping current, the faster the action time of the indication.

The reason for this phenomenon is the charge-discharge characteristics of the front-end RC circuit of the probe section. Our fault indicator does have "inverse time characteristics", it could maximize realize the protection of substation operating and avoid instantaneous disturbance, to ensure correction of action.
